Intern, Strategic Operations

What you’ll do

Wyndham Destinations seeks a "Wyntern" to support our Strategic Operations team in Orlando, Florida. This position will have responsibility within various departments in Strategic Operations and could include engagement with: Business Operations, Field Operations, Inventory Management, and Product Yield Management. Focus will be on developing business acumen and enhancing project management, leadership, and problem solving skills. The position will identify opportunities and work with the business on analytics, development of processes and implementation in partnership with operations and sales leaders.
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assists management on implementation of strategic initiatives through process improvement projects, business system enhancements, and application testing. Works with business partners on change management both at the Corporate and field locations.
  • Assists management with the tactical and strategic management of inventory processes and/or regional support in order to maximize occupancy and generate revenue. Assists operational leaders, site management and Sales & Marketing teams to ensure strategic, customer/owner satisfaction and profitability goals are achieved. 
  • Assists management with efficient forecasts of the financial results of the business, identifying and assessing risks and opportunities, and helping drive success by providing information and analysis derived to help guide management and operational decision-making.

  • Lunch & Learns, Q & A sessions and roundtable meetings with Senior Leadership
  • Mentorship Opportunities



  • Internships are available for students who are currently enrolled in a  Master's degree program in Business or Engineering.
  • Internships are also available to students who graduated December 2018.

  • Positive influence and ability to manage change
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • 1-2 years customer service, project or leadership experience
